An iPad or iPhone will not power on and the screen is blank when the power button is pressed, even after leaving on charge.
If changing the charging cable does not resolve the issue, please try the steps below.
1. Plug the iPhone / iPad into a USB port on any PC / Mac
2. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least 10 seconds.
The Apple logo should show when the device is booting.
If the issue persists, please bring the device to the IT Service Centre in B108 at Kedleston Road.
