You will see this message when you sign-in to University resources and have not responded to a message to ‘Approve sign in request’. This is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in action and has been enabled on all staff accounts.
A request to verify your account has been sent to your default device. If you have this with you, please send another request. If you have not, please ‘get a code a different way’. If you do not have any methods to sign in, then you can either wait until you do, or you will need to contact the ITS Service Centre to setup your MFA from scratch, once we have verified your identity.
We strongly recommend having your office phone as a method of verification, so that you can update your details when you are next at work, for example if you change your mobile phone or mobile phone number.
