The migration to Teams Phone will take place on the following dates:
Chesterfield campus - Monday 20th March,
Buxton and Leek campuses - Monday 27th March,
All of the Derby campuses - Monday 17th April.
If you are unable to see the dial pad within the call section of Teams on or after the date of migration you may need to log out of Teams and restart the app to receive access to Teams Phone. This short guide demonstrates how to do this.
In the image below, the ‘Calls’ app within Teams does not display a number keypad on the left of your screen, indicating the following steps are required to activate the new Teams Phone features.
1. Click on your user icon in the top right of Teams and select 'Sign out'
If prompted, confirm by selecting 'Sign out':
Teams will re-open, prompting you to sign in:
2. Select your user account, enter credentials if prompted, and Teams will launch
3. Select the 'Calls' app within Teams. You should now see a number dial pad:
