Solution
A. Obtain Personalised Timetable Link/URL From CMISGo
- Go to http://cmisgo24.derby.ac.uk/
- Log in using your uni account according to the format below
Username:
[Student ID]@unimail.derby.ac.uk
[Staff ID]@derby.ac.uk
Password: Usual Uni Password - To find or create your personalised timetable URL follow the steps below.
- Click the My mobile option from the Administration drop down menu.
5. If you have not already created your personalised timetable URL/Link you will see the dialog
below.
6. Click the 'Create link' button to create your personalised timetable link.
7. Your personalised timetable URL/Link will be shown as below:
8. Highlight your personalised timetable URL and copy it to the clipboard (highlight it with your
mouse and then press Ctrl+C or right-click on the highlighted text and click 'Copy').
9. Make sure you copy the entire URL starting from http: and ending .ics
B. Download Personalised Timetable File (.ics file)
1. Open Google Chrome or any browser of your choice.
2. Paste the personalised timetable link that you copied in Step 8 into the address bar and press Enter.
3. A 'calendar.ics' will be downloaded to your Downloads folder.
C. Microsoft Outlook (Desktop App) - Add Personalised Timetable
1. Locate the downloaded calendar.ics file (from Section B Step 3) (usually in your Downloads folder) and right-click on it and choose Open with and then select the Outlook app.
2. You might be prompted with a Security Notice as shown below. Click on the 'Yes' button
3. After that, you will be displayed another dialog box requesting how do you want to open the calendar. Click on your choice of preference.
- Choosing 'Open as New' would add your personalised timetable as a separate timetable into Outlook.
- Choosing 'Import' would import your personalised timetable into your current Outlook timetable.
D. Microsoft Outlook (Web) - Add Personalised Timetable
1. Open Outlook in your browser.
2. Log in using your uni account according to the format below

[Student ID]@unimail.derby.ac.uk
[Staff ID]@derby.ac.uk
Password: Usual Uni Password
3. Click on the calendar icon to switch to calendar mode.
4. Once in calendar mode, click on 'Add Calendar'.
5. In the Add Calendar window, click on 'Upload from file'.
6. Click on 'Browse' and locate the downloaded calendar.ics file (Section B Step 3) (usually in your Downloads folder), then select the file.
7. Select a calendar from the dropdown menu, you wish to import the personalised timetable calendar into.
8. Click on 'Import' button.
