If Ezproxy library authentication is used with a VPN, it could be blocked. Ezproxy is set to block an account if used in 4 or more countries in a 24 hour period. This is to prevent an account being compromised. However, a VPN can use servers in other countries to route the traffic, making it look like the account has been compromised.
Ezproxy web page displays this message:
"We are sorry, but your account currently does not have access to this resource. If you think you have reached this screen in error or have questions about the resource you were trying to reach, please contact your library."

2 solutions
1. try to set the VPN to use 3 or less other countries for routing traffic.
2. try using Ezproxy without the VPN
3. access to Ezproxy is blocked in Russia for all users, on a VPN or not.
