This is a new feature to allow you to check your Originality score with out submitting your work to the submission point.

It is currently only available using the Word ONLINE app only, not the Desktop version and will require your work to be saved to your University OneDrive.

The system will allow 3 checks per file, this cannot be increased by IT or your tutors. 

Go to Office 365 Online

Click Sign in to log in with your university account using the following username format:

Students: studentnumber@unimail.derby.ac.uk  or Staff: staffnumber@derby.ac.uk

• Click Apps and all apps
• Click OneDrive to upload your file 
• Once uploaded, go back to the main app page and open Word online 
• Open your uploaded file 
• Click the Turnitin option that should appear on the top menu line
• Click Draft Coach option

A side panel should appear on the right of the page

Scroll down the page to access the Run Similarity check Button

Note: you may be prompted to accept the Licence Agreement, the first time you run this
