This guide has been written to inform staff of the process for opening the TestReach Offline Assessment Portal and downloading CIPS exams using TestReach. Please note, this guide covers preparation tasks for an exam. There is no instructions for during examinations.
1. Log in to the PC using your University credentials (Staff or Student Number)
2. Open AppsAnywhere from the Desktop
3. Wait for AppsAnywhere to validate, then search for 'TestReach' (Accept prompts if required)
4. Click 'Launch' on the TestReach Offline Assessment Portal App (Accept prompts if required)
(Staff can see both the TestReach Offline Assessment Portal app as well as the TestReach Candidate App, which is used by candidates to sit the exam.)
5. Once the TestReach Offline Assessment Portal launches, the IP address of this PC is displayed in the top left corner of the screen. This IP address will need to be written or provided to the candidates so that they can connect to the Portal via the Candidate App, allowing them to start the exam
6. Log in using the credentials provided by CIPS (E.g. derby@testreach.com)
7. Downloading the Tests - Un tick any tests which aren't going to be taken in this session, ensuring that only the exam code that is going to be taken is selected. Once the correct test is selected, click 'Import Tests' at the top right corner of the screen
