If you would like to access university email on your personal phone, desktop or tablet you must register your device with our management system. The registration process involves you proving your identity by providing your university username and password. Once your device is registered IT Services will be able to remove university owned data such as email but not alter any settings on, or wipe, your device.

Why should I register my phone?
If you want to access university email you must register.
The new GDPR rules place obligations on organisations that hold personal data to ensure that it is kept secure and protected. By registering your personal mobile device you are playing your part in meeting these requirements.
What settings will you enforce?

What application do I use to access Email?
When your device is registered with us you can access email via the Microsoft Outlook app.
If you would rather use the built-in iOS Mail app you would need to enroll your phone fully into the management system by following our instructions for university-owned devices.
