CAT Installer
Our recommendation is to use the CAT Installer (Configuration Assistance Tool). Found at cat.eduroam.org.
Note: The CAT Installer can be downloaded, installed and configured off-site so it is ready to use on your arrival. Although we recommend the CAT installer however it is not compatible with android 10.
You can find this tool in the Play Store using the following steps:
- Go to Google Play Store and search for CAT Installer;
- Select and choose Install;*
- Choose the University of Derby;
- Enter your University login in details (123456@derby.ac.uk for example and corresponding password**);
- Click Install;
- That’s it, you are now connected!
*You can delete application from your mobile device once you have connected.
**If you change your password, you will need to update your device with the new password. This can be done using the following steps:
- Go to Wi-fi Settings;
- Hold your finger on eduroam, and choose manage network settings or modify network;
- Input your new password into the password field and click save.
