The Samung sdp-680 visualisers are installed in a number of teaching rooms on campus, including E6 and E9 teaching rooms.
These visualisers have an adjustable camera that allows you to display documents on the projector/ display screen - you can use them to show students what you are writing/drawing or to show objects.
Displaying the image from the Visualiser
Press Visualiser or Document Camera button on the lectern control to display the visualiser:
If you get no image check that the power button on the top of the visualiser is on.
Adjusting the Visualiser
The Camera head can be manually adjusted to tilt /raise /lower.
There are several controls on the visualiser including:
Press AF to turn auto focus on/off, you can also press Freeze to freeze the onscreen image.
You can zoom in /out and turn the lamp on/off:
Capturing the Visualiser in Panopto
In Panopto you can record the visualiser by selecting as the primary or secondary source. It will appear in the drop down list of inputs as ' Samsung Digital Presenter
