OneNote contains OCR (optical character recognition) technology that can be used to convert text in an image into text that can be edited via a text editor such as Word.

Note: You will need to use the OneNote app included in the Office download or use any university computer. OneNote online does not support this feature.

This feature can be put to use of you have scanned a page of text into image format and now need to edit the text or submit via Turnitin.
