This guide will show you how to sign into the Adobe Creative Cloud using your University account.
The login prompt was introduced by Adobe in Creative Cloud 2019 desktop applications and is a requirement for you to continue launching and using the application while you're using a university computer on campus.
Here's how to get signed into the app quickly so that you're ready to continue working.
- In the Email address field enter your university username:
Students: [studentnumber]@unimail.derby.ac.uk. (e.g. 100222105@unimail.derby.ac.uk)
Staff: [staffnumber]@derby.ac.uk (e.g. 781234@derby.ac.uk)
Click Continue
- If you are redirected to the University login page with your username pre-filled and a confirmation box for your password, enter your password and click Sign In
Your Data Privacy
To provide you free access to the Adobe Creative Cloud some of your personal data has been shared with Adobe in the USA. The data shared is:
- First name
- Surname
- University email address
If you do not want this data sharing with Adobe you have the right to request it be removed. To do this please contact the IT Service Centre & log a ticket via the Web form (https://itservicecentre.derby.ac.uk)
Please note, you will not be able to use any Adobe Creative Cloud applications on a university computer if you choose to opt-out.
