Why should I enroll my work phone?
The university is responsible for managing, updating and protecting the devices and data it owns. Enrolling your work phone will mean that IT Services will be able to ensure that our devices are kept up-to-date and are protected from threats.
The new GDPR rules places obligations on organisations that hold personal data to ensure that it is kept secure and protected. By enrolling your work mobile device you are playing your part in meeting these requirements.
What are the benefits of enrolling?
Managed devices can take advantage of the following:
- Full access to university email on either the native email app or Microsoft Outlook apps
- Configuration free access to university wireless services
- University app stores for downloading recommended or pre-purchased apps
- Ability to wipe your device if it is lost or stolen
