Facilities in this Technology-enabled Active Learning (TEAL) room are: 

• Lectern PC with single touch screen monitor (if you have a stylus it can be used on the lectern monitor but not on the main screen, it would cause damage ) 
• USB-C Input for laptop or other device, also allows charging of device ( up to 100W)

• Tracking camera for lecture capture and Teams/Conference calls
• Wireless microphones for lecture capture and Teams/Conference calls ( 1 x boundary & 1 x Wearable Microphone) IMPORTANT: a microphone must be removed from the charging dock or no audio will be sent to Panopto. At the end of the session put microphones back in dock and make sure they click in place so that the charging light comes on
• Hard of Hearing MobileConnect Assistance system: Download Sennheiser Mobile Connect App to your Andriod/IOS device
• Height adjustable lectern (motorised)
• 5 x student group tables each with a Display Screen, USB-C cable connection and Solstice cable free connection

• Wireless charging and power for laptops on eack group table

   

PC Button will select the lectern PC

Cast will provide access to the AirMedia - connect the USB-C dongle to your laptop. The room camera and microphones will be sent to your device

USB-C allows connection of Laptops, charging (up to 100W) and access to the in-room cameras and microphones for Panopto and Teams etc.

Camera Control allows selection of fixed or tracking camera.

From this screen, you can select lectern shared to room, specific table shared to room or set each table to individual work group mode which allows groups of students to work independently, the tables are represented as laid out in the room, in this case clockwise from table one.

IMPORTANT: a microphone must be removed from the charging dock or no audio will be sent to Panopto. At the end of the session put microphones back in dock and make sure they click in place so that the charging light comes on.
